A moment of stillness,
five times a day.
Prayer Stop holds back the apps that pull at you at every prayer, and gives you everything around it: accurate prayer times, the qibla, and the Qur'an with recitation by eight renowned reciters, offline and in 19 languages. The phone on this page is the real app. Try it.

Everything you need, nothing you don't
Thoughtfully made, beautifully quiet. Everything below works on iPhone, and most of it works in the phone above.
The prayer pause
At each prayer, the apps you chose step aside for 3, 5 or 10 minutes, and a calm prayer screen takes their place. One tap brings them back.
Accurate prayer times
For any city, with Muslim World League, ISNA and Egyptian methods and a live countdown, computed on your phone.
Qur'an recitation
Eight renowned reciters. The verse being recited is highlighted and followed as you read; tap any verse to start there.
Read and listen offline
Download all 114 surahs to read without internet, and save one surah or a reciter's whole recitation to listen anywhere.
Your choice of translation
The meaning of every verse in any of the app's languages: Saheeh International, Diyanet, Makarem Shirazi, Muhiuddin Khan and more.
Qibla compass
A live compass to the Kaaba, with the exact bearing and distance from wherever you are standing.
Adhan alerts
A quiet alert as each prayer arrives, or, if you choose it, the opening of the adhan. Off unless you turn it on.
Widgets in your colours
Home-screen widgets in the app's own style that follow the colours you pick, including a small one counting down to the next prayer.
Five backgrounds
Green courtyard, blue night, brown clay, rose garden and violet dusk, four accents and a day mode. The pause screen, widgets and icon follow.
19 languages
Every screen, the prayer names as your community says them, and the Qur'an's meaning. Tap one to switch the phone above.
Built with respect for you
Prayer Stop is different by design. Here's what you'll never have to worry about.
Your data stays with you
We collect nothing. No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking, no analytics. Every setting and location lives on your device and never leaves it.
No ads interrupting you
No banners, no pop-ups, no distractions while you pray. Just one quiet Recommendations page with hand-picked partners and good causes — only if you choose to look.
Free, always
No premium tier. No locked features. No "upgrade" nags or upselling. The whole app is yours, completely, forever.
Built around you
Want a feature? Tell us. We're a small team and we genuinely add what the community asks for. Your ideas shape where Prayer Stop goes next.
So how do we keep Prayer Stop free with no ads and no data selling? Through honest partnerships. A few trusted businesses and good causes appear on our Recommendations page — and that's it. No selling your attention, no selling your data. Just a quiet, transparent way to keep the lights on.
